DR. GREEN RELIEF
Tulsa Marijuana Doctors
Oklahoma requires a recommendation from a physician licensed in Oklahoma and registered with OMMA. A Tulsa marijuana card is an OMMA patient license, valid for two years for adult Oklahoma residents. Read how to get an Oklahoma medical marijuana card for the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority process in full. Dr. Green Relief does not have an office in Tulsa or anywhere else in Oklahoma. Oklahoma’s Medical Cannabis Program has no list of qualifying conditions, so an OMMA-registered Oklahoma physician decides, as with any medication, whether to recommend medical marijuana to an adult resident.
With a Tulsa marijuana card/license, you will be able to buy marijuana products at any Oklahoma dispensary. Before you book anywhere in Tulsa, check OMMA’s voluntary Registered Physicians List, and ask any physician who is not on it to confirm OMMA registration. After your recommendation is signed, you apply through OMMA’s online portal within 30 days and can track your Tulsa marijuana patient license there.
Book only with a physician who holds an Oklahoma license and an OMMA registration. Visitors to Tulsa who hold a medical marijuana license issued by their state government, such as Missouri or Arkansas, can apply for a 30-day OMMA license for $100 plus $4.30 with a photo, ID and that license; OMMA says Texas patients are not eligible. OMMA does not accept out-of-state physician recommendations.

FINDING CANNABIS DOCTORS IN TULSA
Finding a physician in Tulsa works as it does anywhere in Oklahoma: no Tulsa address is needed, only an Oklahoma license and an OMMA registration. Tulsa workers should also know Oklahoma’s job rules: unless federal law or federal funding requires otherwise, an employer may not fire or refuse to hire you only for holding a patient license or for a positive test. That protection does not cover use or impairment at work or safety-sensitive jobs, and HB 3127 sets a zero-tolerance standard for those jobs from November 1, 2026. Neither health insurers nor workers’ compensation carriers have to pay for medical marijuana.
Tulsa patients may grow six mature and six seedling plants at home, on property they own or with the owner’s written permission, out of view of a person with 20/20 vision on any adjacent street, and may not use butane, propane, CO2 or other hazardous extraction at a residence. At home they may keep up to 8 oz of marijuana and 72 oz of edibles, and licensed patients may not share products with anyone or take them across state lines.

Oklahoma Medical
Marijuana Authority
How does the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority work for Tulsa patients? It runs a medical program only, because adult use is not legal: voters rejected State Question 820 on March 7, 2023. State Question 788 created Oklahoma’s medical program in 2018, and the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority (OMMA) regulates it; its October 1, 2026 report counted 304,186 patient licenses. To get your Oklahoma Cannabis Card in Tulsa, apply to OMMA with a registered Oklahoma physician’s recommendation, a photo, ID and proof of Oklahoma residency. Once OMMA issues your patient license, you are protected from state arrest and prosecution for medical use, possession and purchase within the legal limits.
QUALIFYING MEDICAL CONDITIONS
Oklahoma Marijuana Card Cost
There are two costs for your Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Card: the physician’s fee for your recommendation, and OMMA’s $100 application fee plus $4.30 processing ($20 plus $2.50 with Medicaid, Medicare or 100% disabled veteran status).

Marijuana Laws
Carry your Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Card whenever you have cannabis with you: state protection for buying, possessing and using it covers licensees within the limits. Until your card arrives by mail, OMMA’s approval email works as ID at licensed dispensaries.
Tulsa
Marijuana Dispensaries
To shop at Tulsa Dispensaries you need your Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Card, or a 30-day OMMA license if you are visiting. Oklahoma has paused new dispensary licenses since August 26, 2022, and HB 3143 (2026) moved the end of that pause to August 1, 2028.
