Las Vegas Marijuana Doctors

How Do You Get a Medical Marijuana Card in Las Vegas?

To get a Nevada medical marijuana card in Las Vegas, you must be a Nevada resident with a condition on the state list, and a provider licensed in Nevada must sign your application. You can see that provider in person at our office or by video. You then apply on the state’s online portal and pay the state $50 for a 1 year card or $100 for 2 years. Our staff at 7200 W Smoke Ranch Rd Ste 120 can help you fill in the state application, and the Division of Public and Behavioral Health explains each step on its registry page.

Facts on this page were checked against official sources, including NRS chapter 678C and NRS 372A.290, by the Dr. Green Relief editorial team. Last reviewed October 19, 2026.

Money-back guarantee: if the physician does not certify you at an in-person evaluation at our Las Vegas office, your evaluation fee is refunded. The Nevada registry card fee ($50 for 1 year or $100 for 2 years) is paid to the state and is not part of this refund.

In-Person Visits at Our Las Vegas Office

You can see a Nevada-licensed physician in person at our Las Vegas office, 7200 W Smoke Ranch Rd Ste 120, Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM; the office is closed on Saturday and Sunday. Call (702) 707-2414 with questions, or see all Dr. Green Relief offices.

The physician checks your condition against the 14 on Nevada’s list. If it is on the list, the physician may sign your Attending Healthcare Provider Statement and choose a 1 year or 2 year card. You add the signed Waiver and Acknowledgment pages and send the packet with the state fee, uploaded on the Division’s portal or by mail. Once you are approved, the Division’s letter of approval works at dispensaries right away and for 60 days, and the card should arrive by mail within 7 to 10 business days.

Telehealth Evaluations for Nevada Residents

Nevada residents can also have the evaluation by video. Nevada law lets a provider establish a relationship with a patient by telehealth when that is clinically appropriate, as long as the provider holds a Nevada license (NRS 629.515). That statute does not count fax or email as telehealth. To book, choose the video visit with a Nevada-licensed physician in the price section below. The state card fee is paid to the Division separately and is the same $50 or $100 as after an in-person visit.

Las Vegas
Medical Marijuana Doctors
And The Nevada Card

After a Las Vegas medical marijuana doctor licensed in Nevada confirms that your condition is on the state list, the next step is to enroll in the medical marijuana card program. When the Division approves you, its approval letter works at licensed dispensaries right away and for 60 days while the card is mailed.

Your status as a marijuana card patient is kept in a confidential state registry. The Division of Public and Behavioral Health may not disclose your name. It may confirm your card to law enforcement only to verify that you hold it, and it must give your name to Parole and Probation if you are on parole or probation.

Nevada
Marijuana Card Program

Patients who hold a Nevada registry card are exempt from state prosecution for the medical use and possession of cannabis within the legal limits, and may grow it only in limited cases. At your evaluation, the provider decides whether you have a condition on Nevada’s list. If you do, the provider may sign the Attending Healthcare Provider Statement for a 1 year or 2 year card.
Under NRS 678C.220, the provider who signs your Nevada application must be licensed in Nevada and in good standing with a Nevada board. Your registry record is confidential, with the limited exceptions set out in NRS 678C.800. A Las Vegas marijuana doctor who sees you by telehealth must also hold a Nevada license to treat you in Nevada (NRS 629.515).

Maxine Bonnie Ingham, M.D. (Nevada medical license 8528) is among the physicians who provide telehealth evaluations for Nevada patients with Dr. Green Relief.

Visiting Las Vegas With an Out-of-State Card

Nevada issues registry cards only to Nevada residents, so a visitor cannot apply for one. A medical dispensary may still serve you if you show a document that proves you are authorized to use medical cannabis under your home state’s law (NRS 678C.470). With that authorization you are treated as holding a valid registry card for the state’s medical use exemption while you stay within Nevada’s limits, and the statute sets no time limit on a visit. The limits are in our Nevada marijuana laws guide.

How Do Las Vegas Patients Renew a Nevada Card?

A renewal needs a newly signed Attending Healthcare Provider Statement, on which your provider chooses a 1 year or 2 year term. You send the Division of Public and Behavioral Health its renewal form with that statement and the other application materials, and you return the expired card or letter of approval (NAC 678C.130). The state fee is due again with the renewal: $50 for a 1 year card or $100 for a 2 year card.

Medical marijuana costs and fees

A Nevada medical marijuana card has two costs: the physician’s evaluation fee, and the state card fee of $50 for 1 year or $100 for 2 years, paid directly to the Nevada Division of Public and Behavioral Health.

Medical Marijuana Laws

Nevada
Marijuana Laws

Obtaining your Nevada medical marijuana card lets you possess up to 2.5 ounces of usable cannabis at one time, and you may grow up to 12 plants only in the limited cases state law allows. You can read the full text of Nevada’s medical cannabis law in NRS Chapter 678C.

Las Vegas Marijuana Dispensaries

With your card you can shop at licensed stores in Las Vegas: Clark County had 75 retail dispensary licenses on the state list as of September 1, 2026. Products sold there must pass the state’s required lab tests. The Cannabis Compliance Board publishes the list of licensed Nevada dispensaries.
