Dr. Green Relief does not have a Columbus, GA office; its offices are in Florida and Las Vegas. Columbus, GA patients must be certified by a Georgia-licensed physician whose principal place of practice is in Georgia. A medical marijuana card in Columbus, GA comes from the Medical Cannabis Patient Registry that DPH runs. The full process, from certification to your registry card, is on our Georgia medical marijuana card page. Your physician signs the certification form and submits it to DPH electronically. To prove residency, show a Georgia license or ID, or another valid ID plus a bill or pay stub that carries a Georgia address. The card is valid for five years, and the physician renews the certification each year unless the condition is incurable or irreversible. The Georgia Access to Medical Cannabis Commission’s map, last updated August 5, 2026, lists one licensed dispensary address in Columbus.
Once a Georgia physician certifies you in the state registry, DPH checks the certification and emails a payment link. The card will give you access to medical cannabis at state-licensed dispensaries. For a patient under 18, DPH lists the parent, guardian or legal custodian as the one who qualifies for a card, and as caregiver that person can buy for the patient.
Natasha Stinson, M.D. (Georgia medical license 057193) is among the physicians who provide telehealth evaluations for Georgia patients with Dr. Green Relief.

Medicate
With an active Georgia Medical Cannabis Patient Registry card, you can buy oils, tinctures, capsules, patches, lotions and vaporizer products, but not candies or cookies.
DPH issues the registry card only after a physician certifies one of the conditions on the state list. A diagnosis alone does not make possession lawful in Georgia; a patient needs an active registry card issued by DPH. Georgia lists 18 qualifying conditions, from ALS and Alzheimer’s disease to sickle cell disease and Tourette’s syndrome; the Department of Public Health lists all of them on its medical cannabis page.
Georgia has no reciprocity agreements, so a card from another state counts only for a visitor who has been in Georgia under 45 days and whose state allows the same possession.

Marijuana Card Program
Georgia law lets a patient with an active Medical Cannabis card possess up to 12,000 mg THC of medical cannabis, as long as the products stay in the pharmaceutical containers the manufacturer labeled and the patient has the physical or electronic card on hand. DPH says the physician’s certification authorizes you but is not a prescription. Vaping medical cannabis is illegal in public places and for anyone 21 or younger.
