DR. GREEN RELIEF
Oklahoma City Marijuana Doctors
Reviewed by Benjamin Howard Krasne, M.D., Oklahoma medical license 35475. Last reviewed October 18, 2026.
Oklahoma requires a recommendation from a physician licensed in Oklahoma and registered with OMMA. To get an Oklahoma City medical marijuana patient license, you apply to OMMA, the state agency that issues it; no clinic or doctor’s office can. Each step of that application, from the physician’s recommendation to the license itself, is on our Oklahoma medical marijuana card page. Residents can book an in-person OMMA lobby appointment for application help. That lobby belongs to OMMA; Dr. Green Relief has no office in Oklahoma City. OMMA’s $104.30 fee for a two-year license ($22.50 reduced) is nonrefundable. Only an Oklahoma-licensed physician may recommend medical marijuana to an Oklahoma City resident. Since January 1, 2026, that physician must also hold an OMMA registration. An Oklahoma marijuana card will allow you to purchase cannabis vapes, concentrates, flower, and edibles at any local dispensary.
OMMA lobby staff help with applications and renewals by appointment, Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., but no physicians are on site to give recommendations. To apply for an Oklahoma City Medical Marijuana Card, you need a signed recommendation, ID, proof of Oklahoma residency and a photo. OMMA applies the same rules statewide; the reduced $20 plus $2.50 fee needs proof of Medicaid, Medicare or 100% disabled veteran status.
Benjamin Howard Krasne, M.D. (Oklahoma medical license 35475), who is registered with the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority, is among the physicians who provide telehealth evaluations for Oklahoma patients with Dr. Green Relief.

FINDING CANNABIS
DOCTORS IN OKLAHOMA CITY
Oklahoma City is home to OMMA’s Patient Services Lobby in the M.C. Connors Building, at 2501 N. Lincoln Blvd., Oklahoma City, OK 73105, where patients and caregivers can get application or renewal help by appointment. The lobby does not issue recommendations, so see an OMMA-registered physician first, then submit your application within 30 days, or apply online through OMMA’s MedPortal. OMMA’s call center is (405) 522-6662.
Under Oklahoma law there is no list of qualifying conditions; the physician applies the standards a prudent physician uses for any medication. OMMA must decide your application within 14 business days. Once approved, the approval email or your MedPortal approval, together with a government photo ID, lets you shop at licensed dispensaries until the card arrives by mail; OMMA prints it in one to two business days and sends it first-class. Proof of residency can be an Oklahoma license or ID, a utility bill, a deed, a lease or an Oklahoma tax return.

Oklahoma Medical
Marijuana Authority
How does the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority work? It licenses patients, caregivers and cannabis businesses statewide. Oklahoma voters approved State Question 788 on June 26, 2018. OMMA began under the State Department of Health and became an independent state agency through SB 1543 in 2022. Your Oklahoma Cannabis Card protects you from state arrest and prosecution for medical use, possession and purchase within the legal limits. That protection starts when OMMA issues the license, not when a physician signs your recommendation.
QUALIFYING MEDICAL CONDITIONS
Oklahoma Marijuana Card Cost
There are two costs for your Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Card: the $129 Dr. Green Relief telehealth evaluation by video, and OMMA’s $100 application fee plus $4.30 processing ($20 plus $2.50 with Medicaid, Medicare or 100% disabled veteran status).
Oklahoma Medical
Marijuana Laws
Carry your license: your Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Card is what lets you buy, possess and use medical marijuana within state limits. Without a license, even someone who can state a medical condition faces a fine of up to $400 for up to 1.5 ounces.
Oklahoma City
Marijuana Dispensaries
Oklahoma City Dispensaries may sell medical marijuana only to people who hold an OMMA license, such as the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Card. OMMA’s October 1, 2026 report counted 1,259 licensed dispensaries statewide, and each must check your license at every sale.
